The importance of free speech
Ulla Carlsson, Dr, UNESCO Chair on Freedom of Expression, Media Development and Global Policy, University of Gothenburg. She is the former Director of NORDICOM and founder of the journal Nordicom Review. Ulla Carlsson has published several books on freedom of expression, media development; media statistics; media history; media governance; media and information literacy; etc.


Killing the Golden Goose: Journalism and Sponsored Content.
Tamara Piety, Professor of Law at The University of Tulsa College of Law, and a nationally recognized scholar on the legal treatment of commercial and corporate speech. She is widely published in legal journals and her book, Brandishing the First Amendment, has been an influential entry into the very important debate about the scope of the protection for freedom of expression under the US Constitution and how more protection for advertisers and for corporate speakers runs into conflict with ordinary regulation of commerce.
