About Brita Bohman

Post doctor in ocean governance law. My post doc research is on the EU Common Fisheries Policy with focus on ecosystem approach and the so-called landing obligation. An aim with the project is to review the Swedish implementation and to connect the chosen perspectives to a global background and other complex issues concerning ocean governance.
I finished my doctoral studies at Stockholm University in February 2017. My dissertation analyzed the design and effectiveness of law in relation to complex, non-linear, environmental problems. To that end theories of social-ecological resilience was used as a basis, and the international regulation of eutrophication in the Baltic Sea was made the example.
