About Gabriela Argüello

In June 2018, I completed my doctoral education. My thesis focused both on international and European law concerning the management of ship wastes from a life-cycle approach. The research highlighted the integrative role of international environmental principles.

My research interests relate to addressing global environmental challenges about the marine environment because it involves large and multi-scale dimensions of actors, including States, international organizations, industries, and civil society organizations.
